Terk HDTVO Reviews

rated 5 out of 5 Awesome product
by V. Leung from N. Virginia, 2010-02-11

I was a bit skeptical at first when reading some reviews about how Terk is over price and they're just fancy looking antennas, but this was the only one at the time where the antenna was mountable on an existing satellite dish stand. I have a satellite dish that I don't use anymore, so I removed the dish, and put the Terk on there. I haven't had any problems with signal strength at all. My area got hit with a huge snow storm, and the antenna's holding up pretty good.

rated 2 out of 5 Careful before buying

This antenna only picks up very few stations in my area than only under ideal weather conditions. Says it is good for so many mile from station but buyer beware, this is not what it is supposed to be sorry I bought it.

Installed in less than 30 minutes, installed as backup to direct tv during rainy and cloudy days. I can receive 24 channels which is more than expected

rated 5 out of 5 Great TV were I live.

I had to buy a longer pole and brackets to install it were I did. The picture on my computer and TV in the garage are great. I have a straight shot to Mt. Wilson.

rated 1 out of 5 doesn't work at all anymore
by God Is Love from rockwall, tx, 2010-01-23

difficult to install. had to make two trips to radio shack for parts (we installed it on dish mast). decent but not great signal strengths on any channels. we are only 40 miles from downtown dallas. doesn't work at all anymore and can't figure out why. have tried every trick i can think of. my mother's 30 year old antenna that she just stuck up in her attic beats the snot out of this one.

(((also, just a pointer...if you have a metal roof, you CANNOT mount this anywhere indoors, not even in attic....it MUST go outdoors))))
