One of the best valued dvd players if you don't want BlueRay dvd players. Ease of operation plus a good remote control, not the cheap tiny one as other people complained about some other DVD players. Good quality picture. Overall, one of the best buys of DVD players you can get. Highly recommended !!!

Habiendo tenido un aparato similar pero de la marca Philips , no puedo mas que manifestar descepcion de Magnavox, en un inicio cuando recien puse una pelicula pense que tenia que cambiarle de configuracion para que mejorara la resolucion de el video a 1080P , pero al hacerlo , realmente el cambio no fue muy significante , de echo casi ni lo percibi (pelicula: Robots de Disney), hubiera sido muy bueno que en el control en el mismo panel del aparato se pudiera cambiar la configuracion sin tener que accesar al menu, pero como dije en el Titulo, que mas se podia esperar por 36 dlls. Afortunadamente mi hija de 5 aos no se da cuenta de esos detalles.

Poor quality power does not work

I bought one of these and it would not power up. I called technical assistance and we determined that I had a bad unit. I returned it and the replacement has worked adequately well for the last six months. I was watching a movie last night and today there is no power to the unit. I've checked it in multiple outlets. I now have a rental movie stuck in the dvd player. I am not impressed.

Just what I was looking for

I was looking for a DVD player that would play the dramas that my team needed to learn. It does a great job and the sound and picture quality is very good. I have also found that it plays movies that we rent well too. It is just your very basic DVD player, but it fits in a small place and works well and I was very pleased with the price. I am electronicially challenged sometimes so it takes me a little while to figure out how it all works with the TV and cable, but I don't think anyone will every make a machine that has a one touch button

dvd player seems ok.. the packageing was nasty the acutall box not the shipping box was covered in and smelt like metal shop filings. hard to wash off dirt
I dont like opening something that is suppose to be new and its full of dirt
