rated 5 out of 5 Good price, good TV, happy with the purchase

I really do like this TV. All it takes is a good show in HD to prove this TV has got what it takes to be competitive on an ever changing market. Sound from the TV is better than most others in its category. Very easy to use, so easy my girlfriend, who usually avoids anything larger than a hairdryer can operate it. (love you honey)

Image burn can happen with this TV fairly easily. I played a video game on the PS3 for about 2hrs, and one part of the game screen didnt move very much. When I switched the game off, the ghosted image of the game was set in. I was horrified and upset. I called LG, who was available with very little hold time, and they walked me through the process of getting it out. I can officially say it worked.

They say this new TV has measures that prevent the burn, however some image retention is inevitable if one part of the picture has little movement. They had me set up some things differently on the TV to further help prevent this.

My only CON with this TV is there is no AUDIO OUT ports for RCA. Do you have a sound bar thats RCA? Surround sound? Players speakers? You wont be able to use them directly from the TV. It only has an infrared optical out port, which I found a sound bar that worked great from. All in all, Im VERY pleased with the purchase, and will urge others who are on the fence to go ahead and get it, they wont be disappointed.

rated 4 out of 5 Great TV for the price

I really like this tv. I researched tv's for a while before purchasing. It was between the Panasonic G25 and the LG PK750. Although the picture was an important factor the looks of the tv weighted in heavily as well.

The Pani G25 is an extraordinary tv, but it comes at a premium and it looks are a bit dated in comparison with the beautiful Infinia PK750.

I purchased the tv three months ago from Amazon. Excellent experience all around, even with the free shipping received. I did the prerequisited 100 hrs break in process, running only full screen programing for hours at a time. The BBC Life blu ray is excellent for this, as is has a 3hrs plus disc. The tv looks better now than when I purchased back in April. the colors pop and it renders a very good black, not as good as the PK950 model, but good.

Pros
1. Beautiful tv, it resists dust
2. Options - THX and various watching and color adjustments - Tweek them to obtain best
3. Internet able - Netcast, Netflix, etc.
4. Price
5. Multiple connections - 4 HDMI
6. Thin and very light

Cons

1. Screen glare from certain watching angles
2. Image retention for the first 200 or so hrs, this is different than burn in. It will go away, but it is a little annoying nonetheless.
3. Sound - speakers under perform - I have mine connected to an Onkyo receiver.

Overall I give this tv 4.5 stars.

rated 5 out of 5 Great TV for the money!

First off the deal I got on this was great! Second Plasma is the way to go unless you buy into the LED hype. LED is early in it's elopement while Plasma has been fine honed, the biggest difference being the color black which appears to be gray with LED. Plasma does use more energy and produces more heat, but for the dramic price difference and extra options that are availible for a lower price point including Netcast which is freak'n awesome and really easy to use.

Ive had this model for almost three weeks now and love it. LG was definitely generous with the features and it definitely is deserving of a THX certification. Just watched AVATAR and all I can say is WOW! I was really looking for and LED but for the price I paid for this one, I have to say that its really quite impressive. Streams Netflix flawlessly, Yahoo widgets are great, ONLY allows SD on Youtube(not sure why). The only thing missing is PIP, which is an acceptable compromise for only having paid slightly north of $1000 out the door.
