Works well in NYC

Purchased this to replace a small amplified monoprice antenna that was not receiving all network channels at the same time. I'm now able to receive all of the networks reliably using the antenna indoors in a manhattan apartment (positioned beneath an end table near a window). Works great with better quality than I had been receiving with Time Warner.
Excellent Antenna

Purchased this antenna for my father since he has a small 32" LCD tv. He refuses to get cable but has gone through a good many antennas trying to find one that works. So far all the antennas he has tried have looked grainy or the picture stops (delays) and then after a few seconds or longer it resumes (very frustrating when watching sports). I purchased the DB4 and it worked great ( I have 2 tvs) and decided to purchase the DB2 for him. The antenna arrived very fast (like in 2 days). I then assembled the antenna and we placed it on top of the bookcase next to his tv. I did not place it in any particular direction, (it is facing the wall) I figured I could start moving it around once the channels came in. We did a channel rescan and all the local channels look GREAT. No delays, no grainy dim picture but very clear, colorful full HD channels (local). My father is very happy. He has a one story home in a typical neighborhood in Houston TX. So if you are thinking about buying this antenna, go for it, you will not be dissapointed!
HDTV antenna backup
by Joseph A. Kibelbek

I bought this antenna as a backup to my cable company's service. I wasn't sure that I could get HDTV digital signals from my preset cable people. You never know what the cable people will do if they think it will bring a profit.
The antenna is installed in the attic to a vertical plastic pipe attached to the rafters. The clamp is just snug, so the antenna can be rotated if needed, to allow adjusting and pointing to the local TV antennas. I ran a cable down to an A-B selector switch mounted behind the entertainment center that switches between the air (antenna) and cable inputs.
I was surprised at the number of channels I received, some as far as 25 miles away.
The only problem was the connector for the output cable was behind the antenna frame and required a sharp bend in the cable.
After several bouts of having my cable company provide digital signals and not, they are now providing some of the local stations in HDTV as part of their basic format. But I have a backup just in case.
Hooray! No cable bill!

This antenna is working really well. At first, I was only receiving a few channels, but I moved it from the side of the house to the front (attached it to the roof of the front porch) and hooray!, now I'm getting a bunch more. It's not even on the roof, but it's still getting a lot of channels. (You will need a coaxial cable, of course, to connect the antenna to the converter box.) Best of all, no cable bill!
Amazing Antenna

I am very pleased with the performance of this antenna. It is even smaller than I thought it would be. I mounted it outside, aimed toward the Boston antennas which are 30 miles away. It picks up every available channel with strong signals. Not only that, but it picks up all of the Providence channels, which are 30 miles in another direction. Produces a very nice HD picture.
